Ford Edge Trim Levels
Across all the 2019 Ford Edge trim levels is a car that provides drivers in Lewisville, Denton, and Grapevine with a top-performing, supreme handing, and innovatively designed vehicle. But which of the four available trim levels of the 2019 Edge is right for you?
At Sam Pack’s Five Star Ford Lewisville, we took a closer look at some of the differences you will find in each of the Ford Edge trim levels to give you a better idea of the one that is right for you.
Ford Edge SE
The SE is the base level trim of the 2019 Edge, but still comes loaded with standard features. Its exterior design includes Bi-LED low and high beam headlamps and LED tail lamps that will brightly illuminate your path for clear driving. The Edge SE sits on top of 18-inch sparkle silver-painted aluminum wheels and comes with rain-sensing wipers.
You’ll get plenty of power out of the Twin-Scroll 2.0L EcoBoost® engine that delivers 245 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. This is also paired with the 8-speed automatic transmission and the available intelligent all-wheel drive with all-wheel drive disconnect, which can be added for superior handling and traction.
When it comes to your safety, you will get both the Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert and Lane Keeping System to allow the Ford Edge to assist you in maneuvering the roads safely.
Other technology that is standard in the Edge SE includes the connectivity of SYNC®, Sirius XM® Satellite Radio, and FordPass™ Connect with Wi-Fi® Hotspot.
Ford Edge SEL
There are a few details that improve the exterior of the Edge in this trim. These include the LED fog lamps, heated power mirrors with LED signal indicators, silver roof rack side rails, and 18-inch split-spoke sparkle silver-painted aluminum wheels.
Inside the Edge SEL, your comfort takes a step forward as well with dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control, leather-wrapped steering wheel with available heated steering wheel, and a 10-way power driver’s seat.
For even easier connectivity to your smartphone and your favorite apps, the SEL gets an upgrade to the SYNC® 3 infotainment system.
Ford Edge Titanium
Now with 19-inch nickel-painted aluminum wheels, the outside of the Titanium gets a few tweaks with the heated power mirrors having a memory feature and LED signature daytime running lamps added.
And when you step inside the Ford Edge Titanium you’ll notice the high-end luxury provided in this trim level. The leather-trimmed sport bucket front seats are heated, and the driver’s seat has a memory function. Your front passenger will also enjoy the 10-way power seat that goes along with yours. You can even get the available cooled front seats to stay cool on hot days.
Your listening experience improves with the B&O™ Premium Sound System by Bang & Olufsen equipped in the Edge Titanium.
When it comes to parking, the Edge Titanium will help you no matter where you’re trying to pull into or back out of. This available Enhanced Active Park Assist System features Parallel Parking, Park Out Assist, Reverse Perpendicular Parking, and Forward and Side Sensing Systems
Other conveniences include the hands-free foot-activated liftgate, and the engine now comes with a remote start system.
Ford Edge ST
The sporty Ford Edge ST gets some stylish makeovers to the exterior design with dual exhaust tips, a gloss black-painted mesh grille with ST logo, and 20-inch bright-machined aluminum wheels with high gloss black-painted pockets.
And it isn’t just the appearance of the Edge ST that is impressive, but also what is found under the hood. The 2.7L twin-turbo V6 EcoBoost® engine with Performance Drive Dynamic will generate up to 335 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. With the paddle shifters, Sport Mode, and the AWD system, the ST brings thrilling performance that is felt around every turn!
